When international travel came to a grinding halt due to the coronavirus pandemic, the needs of people who live in poverty intensified. In Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, vital supplies were quickly drained. With fundamental items becoming wildly inaccessible, one of our ministry partners found themselves in desperate need of help. Haiti Christian Orphanage is an organization that provides a home for orphaned and abandoned boys while nurturing them physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Finding the funds to feed and care for the children who call the orphanage home was already a monthly struggle, but when the pandemic hit Haiti meeting daily needs became more difficult. That’s when Haiti Christian Orphanage reached out to the Inspiration Travel Foundation for help.

With your generosity, the Foundation was able to provide the orphanage with $1,000 of emergency assistance funds to offset some of their most pressing needs. We also sent a shipment of food and hygiene supplies that were quickly depleting in their communities. Your financial gifts and supplies lightened the burden on the orphanage and gave it’s most important members a reason to smile.
