Raised
The orphan epidemic in Haiti is rising, and we’ve partnered with the JWC Foundation to help. JWC takes in orphaned and abandoned children, educates them, introduces them to the Gospel and restores them to physical and emotional health.
Haiti’s recent storms and high winds destroyed the orphanage’s cafeteria and impacted its food supply chain. The 36 children at the orphanage survive on rice and beans and save any leftover bones (usually given to the dogs) from any meat they receive because they need to eat them.
We ask for your help rebuilding their once safe and stable environment. The cafeteria is more than a building for them; it’s a sheltered place where they pray together and share nutritious food and life-giving fellowship.
Here is a price breakdown of what it is going to take to repair the damages to the orphanage and provide food for the orphans:
- $6,500 to rebuild the orphanage’s cafeteria
- $216 per day to feed all 36 children (that’s $6 per child)
It only takes $216 to feed the entire orphanage for a whole day (that’s less than a day at a theme park). Think and pray about how many days you’ll feed them for only $216 per day!
When you donate, your funds go directly to the orphanage (without any deductions or administrative fees).
With your help, we can change the lives of these children with the promise of a brighter and more secure future.
