Our partner in Haiti, the JWC Foundation, contacted us with an urgent update after the recent storms and high winds. Here’s an excerpt:

As you may have heard on the news, the situation in Haiti is getting worse every day. The future of our kids at the orphanage is uncertain. Last year, we could not help the kids we usually assist in attending school.

This year feels uncertain too. The storms destroyed our cafeteria, and it needs major repairs. School starts soon, but we may not have the resources to send the kids or buy their books.

So today, I ask you to pray for our orphanage and country. Our kids and those in our community are struggling. Please pray for God’s mercy and blessings over them.

Here is a price breakdown of what it is going to take to repair the damages to the orphanage:

  • $6,500 to rebuild the orphanage’s cafeteria
  • $216 per day to feed all 36 children (that’s $6 per child)

We are asking for your help to fund the rebuilding of their once-safe and stable environment. It’s not just a building for them; it’s a sheltered place where these orphans can be fed nutritious meals each day and flourish in fellowship with other children.

For just $216, you could feed the entire orphanage for a whole day (that’s less than a day at a theme park). Think about how many days you’ll feed them for only $216 per day!

When you donate, your funds will go directly to the orphanage (without any deductions or administrative fees).

With your help, we can change the lives of these children with the promise of a brighter and secure future.

Donate today and help rebuild their cafeteria or help provide their daily meals.
