Working for Inspiration these past 10 years has allowed me to grow in an area I’m passionate about: challenging people to leave behind their comforts and travel to another part of the world. God created a world with so much variety, and He wants us to experience it—to meet and pray with Believers who speak a different language; to fellowship with those who worship and in a different way. And the only way to do this is to get up and go.
These journeys of discovery have introduced me to so many amazing Christians who are making a difference in their communities. Seeing firsthand the needs and obstacles they face, my heart wanted to help. Then, I realized that Inspiration had the opportunity to start something amazing—to make a difference not only in the lives of our passengers, but in the lives of those we encounter along the way.
Behind the scenes, Inspiration Cruises & Tours has always given back by meeting needs we encounter on our travels. But a few years ago, I asked myself, ‘What if it weren’t just us reaching out and making a difference? What if we extended this opportunity to those who travel and partner with us?’ Now, once you’ve traveled to a foreign country and met local Believers who have touched your life, you don’t have to say goodbye. You can make sure the place you’ve visited is never the same by supporting the work God is doing there.
The vision of the Inspiration Travel Foundation is simple: Give and Go! Go see the world and make a difference. Go serve with a mission outside your home country. Go show God’s love to those you meet. And also give. Give to those who are sharing the Gospel and improving the quality of life in the places you’ve traveled. Give to local missionaries who are working in the field, extending the compassion of Christ.
Take a look at the very exciting mission projects we’ve curated from around the world. We know each of these organizations personally, and can testify to the impact they’re making in their regions.
So, come join me! Travel the world. Meet more of God’s children and experience the wonder of Creation. Let’s support each other in real and practical ways. As we come together to celebrate the one God who created such different people, we have the opportunity to leave that part of the world a better place than when we found it.
